I had a chance to stop in at TC Supply Shop last week located on 6 Avenue in Midtown Manhattan and check out some of their Footwear and apparel. TC Supply Shop carries a wide selection of boots, Shoes and apparel from brands such as Walkover, Seavees, Feiyue & Gorrila. Gorrila happens to be TC Supply shops own Shoe & Boot brand. They design & manufacture their product right here in the United States. With cost of production for domestic made products so high its hard to find brands made in the U.S.A now a days. Its a plus to find a Label thats making such a taste full and quality product right here at home. TC Shop has a choice selection of apparel & accessories from Labels such as Gant /Rugger, Levi’s, Filson and some more. If you are ever in the neighborhood stop by. No better of a time then now for some serious layering. Part 3 of this series is focused on Business casual warmth, My Favorite. Mix match colors is always better then match match, But same color everything is a great look if you use the right accent colors. Navy sets the tone for the featured ensemble starting off with a traditional oxford from Epaulet and Navy Blazer from Uniqlo tied up with some stripe & Speckled neck wear from The Hillside. Dark Rigid jeans look good with Just about anything and this selvage selection from Gap are a splendid choice with small details that add to the garment and don’t overwhelm. American Apparel under bottoms and Polo V Neck keep you covered below with some dandy accessories from jpress and Stapleford. Finally top it all off with a Navy Duffel from Topman. Finally we are at the last 5 ideas for your wishlist and just in time for your exchanges or Gift Cards and cash gifts to use on. Starting off is the Barbour quilted coat. This selection was on the top of my list and you can see why. A timeless piece that can be dressed up or worn down. Secondly dark and rigid indigo is my favorite route to go with denim , But when you want something more destructed I haven’t found a Label out there yet that keeps it as natural as A&F. They have an unbelievable sale going on now also that’s definitely worth checking out. Number three, If you haven’t heard of CXXVI Clothing Co. have a look at their site. Amazing wears with such an authentic aesthetic. Fourthly the Pom Pom ski hat is another classic that I appreciate and My good friends over at Addiction clothing have created one that fits Superb. Halloween is here and so is the Birthday of the greatest man I’ve ever known, Raul Amabile, My Father. My father shared with me many things, so many that at times they pop up in my head at the funniest moments. My Father fought Cancer for 6 years and even though it took a lot from him it never robbed him of his spirit. I’ve chosen to pass on one of these jewels to the GD.C readers as he told me. He said “No matter how hard life is or how tough it gets, you get to wake up in the morning, You’re alive!” Make the best of it my friends cause we are here only now. Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Dad.

Fashions Night Out

Last night was a busy one in the City. I went out with the intention to cover who was walking the streets and taking in all the evening had to offer. I can tell you this, fashion is in quite a place right now. People are taking risks and wearing anything and everything. It was quite a mascerade.
