It can be debated that New York is the Fashion Capital of the world. It’s really all dependent on one’s taste palette. There’s nothing like the wears in New York come Fall and Winter. The art of layering and using different fabrics as insulation has become a style New Yorkers have mastered second to none. It’s the function and style of the clothes that are worn that say a lot. Tweeds and heavy twills make sense in the winter and linens and jersey fabric makes sense in the summer. Just like New York knows how to take on a freezing blizzard in the winter with style, the credit must be given to the west for the way they make dealing with a heat wave look so comfortable.
