0 Comments 26 April 2010

Its been a while but Giant Detail is back and better then ever!! With the help from my good friends over at  ”Off Hand Conceptions”  Jerome & Andy, Giant Detail is back in effect! Thank you gentlemen and To all the loyal readers, thanks for waiting and to all the new readers stay tuned ,GDC will continue to bring you all the relevant style and trends that are worth knowing about. Without further delay lets get into this first post and just in time for the Spring Season “Short Sleeve Woven”. I refer to Short Sleeve Button front shirts as wovens because that is the construction of the shirt. It is a woven fabric. Polo shirts or T-shirts are knit fabrics and I’ve referred to them as so for quite some time. Now you also might call the Short sleeve button front a “Button down shirt” and actually a button down shirt is a shirt with the two small buttons on the top of the shirt used to “Button Down” the tips of the collar. Now that we are clear on all these points, this shirt is perfect for the warm weather. With this top having a button closure at the front it allows wind to enter and move throughout your shirt making it more comfortable and looser then a T-shirt. Its the perfect Spring shirt and with plenty of fabrics, Prints and patterns to choose from you’ll definitely be able to find one that fits your style. Below are some selections as well as an ensemble with the S/S  Woven to help point you in the right direction.  Cheers.
