We’ve brought you the Chukka the Wingtip and even the essential urban snow boot in our last footwear posts. Now its time to bring you what we like to call the “Kick Ass Boot”. A boot that has some serious character and looks like it’s been around the block a time or two. You’ve probably seen a lot of distressed or pre-washed styles in stores and magazines etc.. and that’s because it’s one of the more popular trends right now. Brands are using some real nice treatments for their clothing and shoe Labels are doing the same. Though there are brands that have been true to this look for some time, there are some new labels introducing this style into the market and the results are superb. A good pair of distressed boots don’t have to only be worn with jeans or cords, take a look at D&G’S recent runway for Fall 10 and you can see how it’s been put together with a suit and that’s just to name one label. We’re not saying to put on a pair of dirty mud covered boots with a flannel suit but you don’t always have to have shined oxfords on when dressed in a suit.
